Innovating for Sustainability: Elea at the 2025 Nonthermal Processing Workshop
From October 10th to 13th, our Managing Director Stefan Toepfl will be in Beijing, China, attending the 2025 IFT-NPD/EFFoST Nonthermal Processing Workshop.
The workshop is hosted by China Agricultural University, and Elea is proud to sponsor this exciting event, underscoring our commitment to advancing sustainable food technologies and supporting collaboration between academia and industry.
This year’s theme, “Sustainable Innovations in Nonthermal Processing,” highlights the growing importance of sustainable, energy-efficient, and safe food processing technologies. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in exciting presentations, hands-on courses, and lively discussions, exploring the latest research, case studies, and industry applications.
At the workshop, Elea will share its experience with Pulsed Electric Field (PEF) technology and its applications in sustainable and efficient food processing. Depending on the objective, it enables processors to reduce energy and resource consumption, lower production costs, and extend product shelf life, all while maintaining quality and nutritional value.
This is a unique opportunity to exchange ideas with global experts, explore cutting-edge developments, and contribute to shaping the future of food processing.
