Wine and Olive Oil
PEF Tour
2025
Join Us to Experience the Future
of Wine and Olive Oil Production
See for yourself how Elea PEF technology is revolutionising the industry—we're bringing PEF directly to your winery and olive oil production.
This year, Elea is hitting the road across Italy with our mobile PEF unit, bringing Pulsed Electric Field (PEF) technology directly to you during the harvest season.
The Elea PEF Advantage P1e system, housed in a specially equipped trailer, is at the center of the tour—demonstrating how PEF enhances extraction, improves product quality, and increases efficiency.
Starting in August this year, we’ll be visiting eleven selected wineries across Italy to showcase the impact of PEF in real production settings.
Although participation for the 2025 tour is now closed, you can follow along as we demonstrate how Elea PEF technology is helping shape the future of wine and olive oil production.
Here, we’ll keep you up to date with the latest news, behind-the-scenes moments, and exciting developments from the Wine & Olive Oil PEF Tour. Stay tuned to see what’s happening on the road and how Elea is bringing PEF technology directly to wineries and olive oil producers.

The first two customers are complete!
After arriving in Italy with our PEF Tour trailer, we kicked off the trials with the PEF Advantage P1e. Everything went smoothly, and the wineries were delighted with the results.
Even at this early stage, the PEF-treated must already showed more flavour compared to untreated must – confirming our technology’s benefits and a promising start to the tour!
4th September 2025 | Abruzzo
We are currently in Abruzzo, where the PEF Wine Roadshow has been carrying out its latest series of tests. Nestled among rolling hills and sun-drenched vineyards, Cantina Chiusa Grande welcomed us with genuine warmth – a family-run winery where every corner feels like home.
The collaboration with Franco, Rocco, and Ilaria was truly inspiring, and we are eager to see the new wines that will emerge from this pioneering experimentation.
The region’s character and richness have added an unforgettable layer to our journey.
From Abruzzo, we now set our sights on Sicily, where the next stage of our tour promises equally exciting discoveries.
8th September 2025 | Sicily
We have arrived in Sicily, where the PEF Wine Roadshow has enjoyed several days of intensive testing and fruitful exchanges at Cantina Petrosino. Surrounded by the island’s vibrant landscapes and sunlit vineyards, the atmosphere has been charged with curiosity, collaboration, and the promise of exceptional results. 🍷
We extend our deepest thanks to the team at Cantina Petrosino for their hospitality, and to winemaker Salvatore De Vita for his invaluable contribution to the success of our tests. Each step of this tour brings us closer to unlocking new possibilities for PEF in winemaking.
From Sicily, our journey continues towards the renowned vineyards of Veneto, where we will continue exploring, testing, and celebrating the craft of wine.
16th September 2025 | Veneto
🚗🍇 The PEF Wine Roadshow by Elea and ScanStore is still on the road!
We’ve just wrapped up a successful week of trials in the beautiful Veneto region, where – for the very first time – pulsed electric field (PEF) technology was applied to Glera grapes, used in the production of Prosecco.
And now we are heading to the shores of Lake Garda, on the border between Veneto and Lombardy, and we can’t wait to share the next steps of our tour with you!
22nd September 2025 | Valeggio sul Mincio
This week, the PEF Wine Roadshow by ELEA Technology GmbH and ScanStore A/S brought us to the picturesque banks of the Mincio River in Valeggio sul Mincio. Amidst its green landscapes and timeless charm, we carried out new trials using our Pulsed Electric Field (PEF) technology on Trebbiano di Lugana grapes at Sei Terre winery, a true local excellence. 🌿🍇
We warmly thank Carlo Alberto and Anna for their generous hospitality and the moments of joy and laughter shared during our visit. Encounters like these make our journey all the more memorable.
From Valeggio sul Mincio, our next steps will take us further along the road of Italian winemaking innovation, as the PEF Wine Tour continues its exciting path forward.
1st October 2025 | Aranda de Duero, Spain
From Italy straight over to Spain — the PEF Wine Roadshow by ELEA Technology GmbH and ScanStore A/S continues its European journey!
This week, we had the pleasure of conducting trials on Tempranillo grapes at Coto de Caleruega Winery in Aranda de Duero, right in the heart of the Ribera del Duero region – an area renowned for its full-bodied red wines and long winemaking tradition.
Our warm thanks go to Lluís Lago Roig, Technical Director of the winery, and Jose Manuel Aranda Gallego for their valuable collaboration and expert technical support during the tests.
We look forward to following the evolution of these grapes and tasting the wines that will emerge from this promising experimentation. 🍷
7th October 2025 | Umbria, Italy
Harvest season may be drawing to a close, but the PEF Wine Roadshow by ELEA Technology GmbH and ScanStore A/S is still on the move! 🚗🍇
This stop took us to the very heart of Umbria, where we were welcomed at the stunning Terre de la Custodia winery – a true symbol of excellence and an authentic expression of this beautiful region.
We extend our sincere thanks to Paolo and the entire team for their warm hospitality and for giving us the opportunity to carry out tests on Trebbiano Spoletino and Sangiovese grapes, two iconic varieties that embody the character and richness of Umbrian viticulture. 🍷
We look forward to meeting again soon, with enthusiasm and deep gratitude for this wonderful collaboration.
20th October 2025 | The end of the Wine and Olive Oil PEF Tour 2025
After 2 months on the road, over 8,000 km traveled by land, 2,000 km by sea, and 9 wineries visited, the Wine and Olive Oil PEF Tour by Elea and ScanStore A/S has officially come to an end!
Throughout the journey, we visited beautiful vineyards and met passionate winemakers eager to take their craft to the next level — blending tradition with innovation through Elea’s Pulsed Electric Field (PEF) Technology.
The tour led us from Chieti to Pescara, Benevento, Trapani, Treviso, Verona, and Perugia to Avellino, and even across the sea to Aranda de Duero, Spain.
During the tour, we treated 13 different grape varieties and collected an impressive 760,000 liters of treated must — 74% from white grapes and 26% from red grapes.
Soon, we’ll be sharing the results from our trials — an exciting next step in revolutionising winemaking with Elea PEF Systems.
We can’t wait to see what comes next — stay tuned! 🍇
