28.July 2025 — Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming a group of international students from the International Summer University (ISU) program at Hochschule Osnabrück, accompanied by Dr. Lusani Norah Vhangani, PhD, to Elea.

We are proud to share that we have officially applied for the Climate Innovation Award 2025 of Lower Saxony with our PEF technology in the potato industry. This award celebrates innovations that make a meaningful contribution to climate protection, and we’re excited to showcase how PEF is shaping the future of sustainable food processing.

Last week, Elea officially celebrated the inauguration of its new building, marking a major milestone in the company’s growth and innovation journey. Over the course of a two-day event, guests from industry, science, and politics were welcomed to explore the new facilities and experience Elea’s leadership in Pulsed Electric Field (PEF) technology firsthand.

Two weeks ago, we had the pleasure of attending Fruit Logistica 2025 in Berlin—one of the world’s leading exhibitions dedicated to the production and processing of fruits and vegetables.

Last week, we had the pleasure of attending INTERPOM in Belgium, an incredible gathering of farmers, processors, and industry professionals from across the potato sector. It was a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with our valued customers and forge new partnerships.

We are proud to announce that Elea has once again been awarded as a ‘family-friendly employer’! This recognition highlights companies in the city and district of Osnabrück that actively implement initiatives to support a healthy balance between family and career.

Last night, we had the honor of attending the Lower Saxony 2024 Innovation Award event, where our PiCon project was proudly nominated among the top three in the Knowledge and Technology Transfer category!

Exciting times ahead! In April 2025, Elea will move into its new headquarter and PEF test centre in Quakenbrück, which is only a few hundred meters away from the previous location. The cutting-edge facility will feature state-of-the-art pilot halls and labs, a meeting and seminar area, a systems showroom, and a parts warehouse.
