At EURODRYING2025 in Wageningen (6–9 July), Elea’s MD Prof. Dr Stefan Töpfl delivered a keynote on how Pulsed Electric Field (PEF) technology enhances drying processes like convective, microwave-vacuum, and freeze-drying.
Live product samples showed clear improvements in texture, structure, and efficiency. Discussions focused on PEF’s potential to improve product quality, speed up drying, and reduce energy use.

PEF in the Spotlight at ProPak China 2025
ELEA exhibited at ProPak China 2025 alongside partner LENNO, showcasing PEF technology through live demos and engaging discussions. Highlights included drying acceleration, snack innovations, and low-heat preservation.

Raising the Roof: Elea’s New Headquarters Takes Shape
Exciting times ahead! In April 2025, Elea will move into its new headquarter and PEF test centre in Quakenbrück, which is only a few hundred meters away from the previous location. The cutting-edge facility will feature state-of-the-art pilot halls and labs, a meeting and seminar area, a systems showroom, and a parts warehouse.
