Celebrating 10 Years of Innovation at the BIQ Quakenbrück

19. August 2025 - Yesterday, the BIQ Business- und Innovationspark Quakenbrück celebrated its 10th anniversary! Elea was proud to be on site to present PEF Technology and share Eleas journey from a start-up to the company we are today.

BIQ as a Launchpad for Start-Ups and Innovation

The BIQ offers young companies their first offices, laboratories, and much more. For Elea, it was an important stepping stone — we were headquartered at the BIQ for several years before moving just a few hundred meters away to our current headquarters in Quakenbrück. The BIQ played an important role in helping us expand our network and grow as a company.

Inspiring Speaches and Showcasing Innovation

The anniversary event was joined by notable guests, including Grant Hendrik Tonne, Lower Saxony’s Minister for Economic Affairs, Anna Kebschull, District Administrator Landkreis Osnabrück, Michael Buergel, Mayor of Samtgemeinde Artland, and Lutz  Brinkmann, Member of the German Bundestag.

Further inspiring talks came from Franz-Georg Gramann, Managing Director BIQ, Volker Heinz, Institut director DIL Deutsches Institut für Lebensmitteltechnik e. V., and Elea’s Managing Director, Stefan Toepfl.

Visitors had the chance to explore various stands from current and former BIQ tenants, discovering the wide range of innovations that have emerged from this unique environment.
