Empowering Women in STEM: Elea Joins the Niedersachsen‑Technikum Initiative
23. March 2026 - Elea is proud to champion women in technical fields and is now officially part of the Niedersachsen-Technikum initiative. Through this partnership, ELEA Technology GmbH actively supports and inspires young women to explore opportunities in STEM and take their first steps toward a technical career.
Supporting young women on their path to a technical career
The Niedersachsen-Technikum is a well‑established and highly successful program, running since 2010 and encouraging young women to enter STEM studies and careers, with an impressive 90% choosing a technical path afterward.
Hands‑on experience, academic insight, and a strong professional network
As part of the program, high school graduates can spend six months with us, working four days per week on an exciting PEF project and gaining hands‑on experience in engineering and technology. One day per week, participants attend courses at the Hochschule Osnabrück and Universität Osnabrück as well visit various local technical companies throughout the program.
Participants also benefit from becoming part of a strong, supportive network: they connect with other participants, meet engineers and students, and receive guidance through mentoring and exchange formats that help them shape their future direction.
It’s a fantastic opportunity to discover potential, build valuable skills, and shape the future.
Thanks to Marika Gervens and Johanna Risse for visting us!
