Strengthened Partnerships & Exciting PEF Trials with Our Visitors from China
28. January 2026 - This week, we were pleased to welcome an interested customer from China together with Sunny Wang from our valued business partner Lenno. Their visit focused on gaining a deeper understanding of PEF technology and its impact on quality and safety parameters in beverages — including hands‑on trials with their own products.
🍹 Day 1 – PEF for Juice Applications
Together with our R&D Engineer Marc Schmidt, the team processed lychee & watermelon juice as well as mango purée using PEF. The goal was to evaluate taste and quality stability after treatment and ensure microbial safety according to the customer’s guidelines. All samples were sent to the lab, and we look forward to receiving the results soon.
🍇 Day 2 – PEF for Improved Extraction
On the second day, Marc demonstrated the impact of PEF on extraction processes. Once again, grapes delivered impressive results with significantly improved yields.
