Madita Kirchner, Food Engineer and PhD Student at Elea, will lead the module 'PEF Technology in Food Innovation'. This module explores how pulsed electric field (PEF) technology can be used to improve food quality, sustainability, and process efficiency.
Elea’s PEF systems use short electrical pulses to gently open cell membranes in raw materials (electroporation). This technology can improve efficiency, optimize processes, and unlock new opportunities in food and beverage innovation.
