Large-Scale Trials Demonstrate the Capabilities of Elea's PEF Systems

11. May 2026 - Elea recently completed a series of full-scale trials using one of the company's largest Pulsed Electric Field (PEF) generators at its 1,300 m² testing facility in Quakenbrück.

Full-Scale Testing Under Real Conditions

With a footprint of 5.9 m², Elea's largest generator combines compact design with high-performance capabilities. To ensure optimal performance, reliability, and precision, the system was assembled and tested by Elea's experts Claudia Siemer, Marc Schmidt and Dennis Böckermann at the company's dedicated testing facility.

Expanding Opportunities for Innovation and Validation

The company's expanded facilities now enable full-scale testing of large PEF systems. This capability allows Elea to validate equipment performance, optimize processes, and gather valuable operational insights under conditions that closely reflect real-world production environments.

Such testing plays a key role in supporting customers as they implement innovative processing solutions and scale new applications of PEF technology.
