29. May 2026 - Strong partnerships are essential for turning innovative technologies into long-term customer success. For more than seven years, Elea Technology and ScanStore A/S have worked closely together to support food and beverage processors across Europe, North Africa and South America. Together, the two companies have successfully introduced Pulsed Electric Field (PEF) technology to a growing number of markets and applications, creating measurable value for customers through improved process efficiency and product quality.

Expanding PEF Applications Across Food and Beverage Industries

Since the beginning of their partnership, ScanStore has represented Elea's PEF technology across Scandinavia, Northern Africa, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Chile and Argentina. The collaboration has contributed to numerous successful projects, particularly in the potato processing industry, while also opening doors to new applications and markets.

While PEF technology is well established in potato processing, both companies are actively supporting its adoption in additional sectors. One particularly promising area is wine production, where ongoing trials and industrial-scale projects continue to demonstrate the potential of PEF technology to enhance processing efficiency and product quality.

Delivering Customer Value Through Joint Expertise

A recent visit by Norwegian customer HOFF SA to Elea's headquarters in Quakenbrück highlighted the strength of the partnership. Operating an Elea PEF system in its French fries production line, HOFF benefits from the combined expertise of both companies. While ScanStore supports customers from project planning through implementation, Elea provides industry-leading PEF technology, application knowledge, installation, training and ongoing technical support.

The long-standing collaboration between Elea and ScanStore demonstrates the value of combining technological innovation with regional market expertise. As demand for efficient and sustainable processing solutions continues to grow, both companies look forward to further expanding the use of PEF technology across established and emerging applications worldwide.
